Itinerary
Arrival & Transfer: Yelizovo Airport (PKC) → Private meet & greet → Transfer to a resort in Paratunka (~40 min). Stop: Stop at the “Here Begins Russia” stele for photos with volcanoes in the background.
Evening Activity: Relax in open-air thermal pools surrounded by snow (water temperature 35–40°C). Notes: A comfortable start to help adapt to the cold weather and time difference.
About the place: Paratunka is a thermal resort area with well-equipped hotels, spas, outdoor hot pools, and local restaurants. A unique winter experience of soaking in hot water while surrounded by snow.
Activity: Snowmobile ride (passenger + driver or self-driving) for ~30 km to the foothills of Avachinsky Volcano (2,741 m). Stop at Camel Rock for photography and views of the “home volcanoes.”
Lunch: Hot meal in a small base camp (fish soup “Ukha” or local dish). Duration: 6–7 hours.
About the place: Avacha Volcano – A classic cone-shaped volcano surrounded by smaller volcanic peaks.
Camel Rock – A unique rock formation between volcanoes, a popular photo spot.
Views: Avacha Bay, the city, and the Pacific Ocean covered in snow.
Added Feature: Modern BRP snowmobiles and full winter gear provided; no prior experience required.
Activity: Visit a Husky farm. Learn to harness the dogs and drive sleds for 10–15 km through snowy forests. Meet the mushers and enjoy a photo session.
Cultural Experience: Traditional music and dances of the indigenous peoples of Kamchatka (Itelmen, Koryak), tasting local foods (reindeer meat, dried fish).
Duration: 4–5 hours.

Activity: Snowmobile or tracked vehicle ride (~40 km) to Nalychevo Valley. Bathing in natural hot springs (38–42°C) in the middle of snowy landscapes. Snowshoeing: Short hike around the valley to view volcanoes and wildlife (foxes, birds). Lunch: Served in a traditional wooden cabin.
About the place: UNESCO World Heritage site, surrounded by volcanoes (Avacha, Gorely, Dzendzur, Dudochki). Equipped wooden huts for rest or overnight stays. Duration: Full-day tour (8–9 hours). Includes: Transport, equipment, hot springs entry, lunch.
Activity: Private boat trip (4–5 hrs) in Avacha Bay. Observe Steller’s Sea eagles, seals, and seabirds. Pass near Starichkov Island – a bird colony. Try simple winter fishing from the boat. Lunch on board: Fresh seafood – salmon, caviar, fish soup. Duration: 4–5 hours.
About the place: One of the largest bays in Kamchatka, never freezes in winter. Snow-covered volcanoes create stunning scenery. Includes: Warm clothing, lunch, marine guide.
Option 1 – Heli-ski (for skiers): 3–5 downhill runs on volcanic slopes. Safety equipment provided (Beacon, Probe, Shovel). Option 2 – Heli-tour (for everyone): Aerial sightseeing of Mutnovsky and Gorely volcanoes and nearby glaciers. Short landing on a plateau for photos. Duration: Half-day (3–4 hours). Includes: Safety gear, hot snack.
About the place: Mutnovsky Volcano – Huge craters, fumaroles, Gorely Volcano – Crater lakes, icy landscapes.
Activity: Transfer (~2 hrs) to Bystraya River. Experience ice fishing: drill holes and catch salmon or trout. Snowmobile or sled rides on the frozen river. Meals: Hot lunch in a riverside cabin + farewell dinner in a local restaurant in Petropavlovsk. Duration: 7–8 hours.
About the place: Bystraya is one of Kamchatka’s longest rivers (~270 km). Popular for winter fishing and outdoor fun. Cozy cabins offer warmth and traditional food. Includes: Fishing gear, special winter clothing, lunch.
