What clothing is required for Armenia?
Armenia has a continental climate. For summer, lightweight cotton clothing and rainwear for sudden cloudbursts are advised. For winter, medium to heavyweight clothing is necessary, especially in the Ararat valley and near Lake Arpi where temperatures can be extremely low.

What are the COVID-19 travel restrictions for entering Armenia?
Travelers must provide a COVID-19 PCR test certificate with a negative result taken within the previous 72 hours or a certification of complete vaccination against COVID-19 with the second dosage taken at least 14 days before entering the country. Children up to 1-year-old are exempt. Foreigners can enter Armenia via air and land borders. Detailed regulations and quarantine information are available as per government guidelines.
Is a visa required to visit Armenia?
Yes, a visa is required except for citizens of certain CIS and East Bloc countries. A 3-week visa upon arrival costs 3000 AMD ($6), and a visitor visa for up to 120 days costs 15000 AMD ($31). Visas can be extended at the Passport and Visa Department of the Police of the Republic of Armenia.
